I discovered that one of the collectors on Facebook lives in a neighboring town. We met at my home today and traded a little Pyrex, talked Pyrex and other vintage goodies. She also had with her, her lovely daughter and goat, yes, a goat. She has a handful of goats and chickens. She brought me these beautiful eggs from her girls. It was nice to meet up and do a local trade. I look forward to seeing her again!
She brought a goat? To your house?! Well, you sure can't make up a story like that now can you? Fresh eggs are the best and a little vintage trading at the same time must have made for a wonderful afternoon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day Evie!

Such a fun local swap! And so nice of her to bring you some wonderful farm fresh eggs! Goats are so cute, and their personalities are so unique! :) Did Mr. Boyce like the goat!?! :) Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteHolly, Little Miss Goat was in her cage in the van out front, Boycie had no idea. He would have certainly had a fit. I would not have put her through that! haha!

OK Evie-only you would have had a visit that included vintage Pyrex, a goat, and fresh chicken eggs!! I was reading this and all I could think of was "of course this happened!". I LOVE goats so much-they are so full of personality. The chicken eggs are so gorgeous, it would be hard to eat them!
ReplyDeleteHee-hee Maureen! I'm living quite the life ain't I ??!!!!
