Vintage Ornament Wreath #8 - Flocked and Felt

I must say I did struggle a bit with this wreath.   I think I've been a bit tired with all this thrifting and scurrying to get my chores and errands done as well.  But it is done!  Yay!

I used only satin balls for the inside and outside of the ring.  I found myself moving the flocked and felt ornaments around quite a bit.  It just wasn't feeling right.  First I had too many, but I eventually settled on the ones I'd use and their placement.

It's late, I'm tired--better get some sleep.  Tomorrow is sure to be another busy day!

  2. Oh my gosh! I think with each wreath you just get better and better! I love how you ran that trim around the edge of the whole wreath! And your placement of all the snowman and deer is just perfect! Great job Evie!!!

    1. Thanks for the comments Erica! I do like to break up the predictability of those alternating colored balls around the outside using trim. I debated getting that partial roll of trim--glad I did!

  3. So *that's* how the flocked Mrs. Claus ornament is supposed to go--she's kissing Santa! Just looking at her straight on I think she looks a bit cranky, which always cracked me up…now I get why she has the scrunched up face, for a smooch!

    1. They were still attached at the hand, but I did have to glue them in place. "Cranky Mrs. Clause", too cute!

  5. You did a terrific job on this wreath...so perfectly balanced colorwise & all and very charming. I have to say I have seen many wreaths on pinterest that look so slapped together & crooked that it bothers me that they have now ruined the vintage items they glued on. Yours and georgiapeachez are the best ones I've seen.
