Christmas in August - First Wreath for 2014 (1a)

Yep!  I'm gearing up to start Christmas crafting.  I've got a bunch of things I want to try my hand out at this year and I need to get started!  Here's a wreath for a friend who said she loved this color scheme after seeing one I made last season.

Black Pyrex 503 - Yipee!

It has finally happened!  A black Pyrex 503 has made it into my life.  It was sent to me by a sweet friend, she knew she would be making my day!!!

A Stack of Pyrex Color!

Had grab to my camera--I walked into the room where I have my Pyrex 024s stacked on a table on the window side of the room.  The sun is going down on that side of the house and the red bowl is just glowing!

Pyrex Anniversary Display

I'm a little late, but I put this little Pyrex display together for our anniversary.  The bride and groom are vintage salt and pepper shakers marked Japan.  The casseroles are 043 Empire Scroll and 575 Golden Pine. I waited for the shakers to go half off, I didn't think they would still be there 3 weeks later, but they were!

Another Pyrex Display - Thrift Store Shelf

I continue to work diligently in moving my Pyrex from my storage area into displays.  I was on the hunt for a little shelf for the small guest room and found just the thing.  It was black and after multiple coats of primer and paint, I achieved getting it to a warm white.  I would like to change out a couple pieces of Pyrex in the display, but I need to find them first!  A 3-way light behind it makes it glow beautifully at night and I can see it from a couple different directions when I'm moving through the house.

Pyrex Pendant - Woodland

I received glass shards from a 444 Pyrex Woodland bowl from one of the girls in our Pyrex trade group.  Had lots of fun creating this pendant for her. It's unfortunate that things get broken in transit, but creating something from it feesl like a little of the damage has been undone.   Hope it brings her lots of good Pyrex juju!

My New Pyrex Display Shelf!

My kitchen is atypical and I don't have wall space for a shelf or a hutch to display Pyrex in.  But I'm pretty persistent, and I finally came up with a space and stumbled across the perfect shelf!
